Leon Roosenboom founded Roosenboom Transport & Expeditie in 1992, which was later expanded to include Roosenboom Logistiek. In these 31 years, we have experienced controlled growth and have always remained what we have always stood for. A loyal and reliable transport partner, which listens and cooperates with the customer. Transport and logistics is a special industry. Every day is a new challenge, which the Roosenboom team seize with both hands ! Roosenboom is a real family business, as not only Leon, but also his wife Femy and both his sons Robin and Stefan have been working for the company for years. We know better than anyone that customer requests need to be answered quickly, which is why we are available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Our flexibility and commitment will always ensure that we provide you with the best possible service!

The founding
The establishment
of Roosenboom
The company was founded in May 1992 by Leon Roosenboom. Started with groupage traffic to Germany. There were also forwarding activities. Our great strength was, transporting large consignments (sugar, milk powder, chipboard and steel) from all over Germany to the port of Antwerp in a short period of time.
History
From then until now
In April 1999, we started the new building at Witteveenweg 10 in Bergen op Zoom, from where our work was expanded in March 2006, to include distribution traffic within the Benelux. This required crossdocking and the demand for storage from our customers also grew.
So a few years later, we moved our logistic activities to Lelyweg 27 in Bergen op Zoom. This location was expanded again a few years later with our current headoffice at Slingerweg 5 in Bergen op Zoom.
Today we have 6 warehouse locations in and around Bergen op Zoom, where we carry out various logistics activities for our customers.
